Fate Amendable To Change

Well, so much for my destiny. At best, it’s on hold. I went for the interview at Home Bargains, but before they got started they said the only shift patterns they had were 01.00 -05.00, or 16.00- 22.00 starts. No good to me. I came home again. It really would have been so convenient. It is so near I just went in my work high vis coat (no leather) and I didn’t have time to get frozen or go fast enough to worry about crashing without protection.

The only good thing is I was feeling the anxiety so it was a huge relief to come home again. And not to have to go through the stress of learning the ropes of a new job while pretending to be fine.

So now I’m stuck at Sainsbury’s for the time being. I’ll keep looking.

I am looking at getting a different bike again now. The Bonnie would have been fine for the 6 miles a day round trip to HB, but 25 miles a day, mainly motorway, on a unfaired bike in winter is no fun. Especially with the lack of handling. To be honest the only thing that’s stopped me from buying it already is I fear it’s going to be a struggle to sell the Bonnie.

I keep saying it, but I think I’ll get the Sportster back on the road, tart up the Bonnie and sell it. I can tootle back and to to work for a while on the Sporty while I get another bike. Right. Plan. I’m busy tomorrow, but as soon as I’ve got some time I’ll do the Sporty. I’ve got to swap the injector bodies/ fake carbs on the Bonnie as well. I’m almost certain that’s the problem with the throttle sticking open.
